Fabulous Area! Tribeca is New York's most desirable downtown family friendly area in lower Manhattan. Non smoking downtown loft apt. located right near The Tribeca Grande. Apt has 2 separate sleeping areas, with 1 queen bed in 1 area and in another separate sleeping area there a bunk bed unit w/ 2 comfortable twin beds in it, one over the other. There is also a double sofa bed in living area. Bedroom areas are separated from each other by 8' solid wall (ceilings are 12'6') and from living area by sliding fabric room dividers. Living/dining room, modern equipped kitchen and 1 spacious full bath, with a separate complete laundry in our private hall. Apt sleeps 3-4, or 1 couple + 2 younger children or a couple + 1 single friend. Nicely outfitted and appointed loft apartment is on 2nd floor(15 steps) (no elevator), 800 sq ft w/ cable TV, washer/dryer/AC and WIFI. Children's playground nearby, Foodies have much to celebrate here with great award winning 4* restaurants nearby. Historic district, w/old cobblestone streets is the backdrop for many films +TV productions with much local celeb spotting. No Pets or Smoking or Parties.
Activities: Near fabulous scenic river bike/pedestrian jogging path/ Hudson River Promenade with mini golf, tennis, beach volleyball, ping pong, basketball, trapeze school, roller blading and children's only playgrounds. Promenade goes all the way uptown and down along the river, with fabulous views of NY
Tribeca is a major world class 4* restaurant area, such as The Harrison, Nobu, Tribeca Grille, Bouley, Bread
Area: Foodies have much to celebrate here, as Tribeca is a lively and award winning 4 star dining area,with charming shops located alongside the restored 19th century buildings. Foot and family friendly neighborhood that should be enjoyed by walking through its old wide cobblestone streets. Tribeca has a very visible film/fashion and arts industry with lots of local celeb spotting, as many films are shot on location here. Express and local subways right nearby with 10 min. to midtown museums, Broadway, theater, tourist attractions.

Great for families!
This rental was perfect for families. Its in a very kid-friendly neighborhood that also has some of the best restaurants and shopping in the city. The apartment is very big and has two separate bedrooms plus a living area which makes it perfect for families. The renters were very responsive and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Everything you could hope for...
I stayed here with my family in July 2012 for 11 nights. I booked an apartment because my younger son is autistic and needs his own space at the end of each day, which is just not possible in a hotel room. I was a bit nervous about doing this online, but everything went smoothly with the booking. We found that the apartment was in a very quiet street in an excellent location. Plenty to do and see within walking distance and three subway stations within a few minutes walk which made getting around extremely easy - we didn't take a taxi once as the subway service was so good. Although the apartment seemed small on first entering, the layout and use of space is cleverly done to ensure that everything you could possibly need has been provided. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of spare towels and bedding. New York is a great city to visit with kids and teenagers. We would happily stay here again.
